What are your operating hours?
Our clinic is open Monday to Thursday, 5-9pm.
How do I book an appointment with the doctor?

Do I need to make a booking?
Yes, we work by appointment only!

Yes, but patients with appointments will always take priority, so walk-ins may experience longer wait times if there are no available slots.

We are equipped to manage minor emergencies, such as cuts, sprains, or mild allergic reactions. For life-threatening emergencies, please call an ambulance or visit the nearest emergency room.
Do you offer COVID-19 testing and vaccinations?
Yes, we offer COVID-19 rapid tests and vaccinations, subject to availability. Please contact us in advance to check availability.

How long is the typical wait time?
Wait times may vary depending on emergencies, but we aim to see patients at their scheduled appointment time.
Can I get medical advice over the phone?
Yes, telemedicine services are available.
Do you accept medical aids?
After Hours GP is not contracted to any medical aid scheme; we are a cash practice. Patients are personally responsible for settling fees immediately after the service. Patients can then submit their invoices to their medical aid for reimbursement at their scheme’s rate. Our fees may or may not align with all medical aid rates.
What are the costs of a consultation?
- In-room consultation: R950 (R700 consultation + R250 after-hours fee)
- Telemedicine: R950 per 20 minutes
- Note: Consultation fees do not include procedures, medication, or additional services.
Do you provide sick notes for work or school?
Yes, we can provide a sick note if medically necessary after a consultation.
Do you have X-ray facilities at your clinic?
No, we refer our patients to local radiology departments for X-rays.
Do you have ultrasound facilities on site?
Yes, we have the capability to perform POCUS scans (Point of Care Ultrasound).
Do you do home visits?
No, we do not provide home visits.
